The network of volunteers at NIHHC reflects the cultural diversity, enthusiasm, and generosity of community members eager to serve. They prioritize the needs of the community above their own. Our volunteers come from various backgrounds and experiences.

Thanks to the efforts of our volunteers, underserved community members gain access to health care providers, resources available in the area, and information about educational programs by overcoming the language barrier. As a volunteer, you can contribute as an interpreter, assist with registration, or help during an educational program, health screenings, and much more. Volunteers play a crucial role in overcoming the language and cultural barriers that many Hispanics encounter when looking for access to health care.

They help overcome the language and cultural barriers many Hispanics face, serving as a bridge that connects the underserved community with access to health care providers and educational programs in a culturally sensitive manner.
